The Aiguille du Midi is the best site to visit in Chamonix. The cable car will lead you on top of 3800m where ths view is huge.The Chamonix tourist train is a little cogwheel train starting from Chamonix city and going to the Montenvers. You can take this train to go to the Mer de Glace.
